Machine Service
Use this screen to test and calibrate the hardware components of each machine.
Note
This feature is only utilized on EM machines.
Enter and Exit Machine Service Mode
Before entering service mode, pause the machine in accordance with the machine’s user manual. Not all Packsize machines have settings in this section.
On the Machine Service page, locate the desired machine.
Make sure that the machine status is paused.
Select Enable Service Mode.
Once service mode is enabled, perform any desired tests or adjustments.
To exit service mode, select Leave Service Mode.
Important
Once service mode is enabled, do not navigate away from the Machine Service page without selecting Leave Service Mode first or the machine will have to be physically turned off and restarted.
EM7 Service Mode Options
After entering service mode, multiple options can be tested or set. The machine component settings are split across multiple tabs.
LongHeads

Selecting the switches on this tab will test the functionality of each longhead.
Crease Ring - Causes the crease ring on the corresponding longhead to lower or raise.
Latch - Causes the corresponding longhead to latch or unlatch.
Cut - Causes the knife on the corresponding longhead to lower or raise.
Crosshead

Selecting the switches on this tab will test the functionality of the crosshead.
Crease Ring - Causes the crease ring on the corresponding crosshead to lower or raise.
Latch - Causes the crosshead to latch or unlatch.
Cut - Causes the knife on the corresponding crosshead to lower or raise.
Tracks
 |
Selecting the switches on this tab will test the functionality of the break and pressure roller for each track.
Brake - Engages or disengages the brake on the corresponding track.
Pressure Roller - Engages or disengages the pressure roller on the corresponding track
Cycle Tools
Selecting one of the buttons on this page will cycle each set of tools through all of its functions 10 times.

Cycle Crosshead Tools - Causes the crease ring to lower and raise, the crosshead to latch and unlatch, and the knife to lower and raise on the crosshead ten times.
Cycle Longhead Tools - Causes the crease ring to lower and raise, the longhead to latch and unlatch, and the knife to lower and raise on each longhead ten times.
Cycle Track Tools - Causes the brake and the pressure roller to engage and disengage on each track ten times.
