PackNet Job Schema

The purpose of a PackNet job is to produce a set of deliverables, like cartons or labels. To produce those deliverables, PackNet has a well-defined schema. Through either explicit data mapping, or through import rules, users can construct the deliverables as desired.

The following are the deliverables that Import supports, along with the fields that can be consumed or modified as part of Import.

Table 2. Job

Job Title

PackNet Identifier, this field will appear as the “Name” in the Search Page.

License Plate Number

Identifier for a label. The max value for this field is 2,147,483,647.

Priority

Used in a Production Group when “Sort By Priority” Ascending or Descending is checked. The max value for this field is 2,147,483,647.

Saved Job

Use this field to use a “Saved Job” template.

Production Group

Where the job is going to be sent.

Machine Group

Desired Machine Group where the job will be sent.

Machine

Machine where the job will be sent.

Pick Zone

PickZone where the job will be sent.

PackStation

PackStation where the job will be sent.

Classification

Classification where the job will be sent.

Carton Property Group

Carton Property where the job will be sent.

Quantity

Number of Packaging Solutions sent to production. The max value for this field is 9,999.

Create by Date

Used in a Production Group when “Sort By Released Date” is checked.

Prioritize Production By

A policy about how to prioritize the job. Valid values are “Throughput,” “MaterialUsage,” or unspecified.

GroupID

Used in a Production Group when “Sort By GroupID Date Time” is checked.



Table 3. Carton

Length

Length of the carton.

Width

Width of the carton.

Height

Height of the carton.

DesignId

DesignId to use for that carton (required when a default is not set).

Brand

Identifier to be used to route work to a specific machine or track.

Corrugate Thickness

z-Fold quality to use, can be used to route work to a specific machine or track.

Carton Rotation

Value for carton rotation must be (0, 90, 180, 270), optionally followed by none, horizontal, or vertical.

Print Image

Image (name) to use on the carton. Has to be found in Configuration > Materials > Print Images.

Flaps Down

Boolean, value for FlapsDown attribute must be either true or false.

Barcode

To be used as the label barcode verification attribute.

Carton Quantity

Number of cartons sent to production. This value can range from 1 to 100.

Template Name/Label Style

When a predefined label template will be used, it needs to be found on Configuration > Materials > Label Templates.

Label Value

Should be in ZPL format, used to render the label design. Use when a Label Template is not provided.

Label Priority

To be used to route jobs to a machine with a specific label media (e.g., labels with a different color or size).

Print Variable

Pass-through variables used on rules or other mapped actions.

Label Quantity

Number of labels sent to production. This value can range from 1 to 100.
